How It WOrks
How It WOrks
Families enrolled in our program will receive free diverse children’s books in the mail. The books will be thoughtfully selected to better reflect the diversity of the world we live in and to be age-appropriate for your child. You can read more about our book selection process. To supplement distributed books, we will provide a variety of resources to continue the conversations between families - BIPOC author and illustrator-led programming, cross cultural discussions and additional resources such as reading guides.
Twin Cities Pilot Program
Over the 2020/2021 school year, Looking Glass Books will focus on piloting our program in the Twin Cities metro area with kids in grades Kindergarten through Second. We will mail four diverse children’s books to our pilot families throughout the school year and offer programming such as activities and video discussions for both kids and parents. If you are located in the Twin Cities with a child in grades K-2, please sign up for our pilot program.
Where we go from here
Over the coming years, Looking Glass Books plans to expand to additional age groups and geographies. Please sign up to be added to our wait list.
